Cost: £40
A deposit of £20 will secure your space, with the rest payable by 20th November
A morning of gentle Scaravelli-inspired yoga to undo tension and discover how to connect through the spine, finding a lightness and freedom in the body and a more easeful, relaxing way of moving without pushing or pulling. A chance to slow down and become present in your body. Letting go of thinking. Sensing and feeling the body and becoming aware of where you habitually hold tension. With the unfolding breath and gentle somatic movement, this tension will slowly unravel, leaving more freedom and ease in the body.
We’ll end our session with the restorative practice of Yoga Nidra (yogic sleeping), which offers relaxation on all levels of being; mind, body, and spirit. It can help to lessen the impacts of stress and support and help with insomnia, depression, anxiety and other mental health concerns. It improves concentration and builds self-compassion.
Refreshments will be available, and if people would like to, we could share lunch together afterwards.
Cost: £45
Start your Sunday with me and Vikki Seymour for a morning of softening, releasing, and replenishing.
I’ll be guiding a Scaravelli-inspired Mindful Yoga practice, with slow, somatic movements that help you tune in, breathe, and gently unravel tension. There’s no pushing or forcing, just kind attention to your body, connecting through the spine, softening old holding patterns, and finding lightness and freedom in the way you move.
From that open, grounded place, Vikki will then carry you into a Soothing Sound Bath. Surrounded by the sounds of crystal and Himalayan bowls, gong, drum, monolina and chimes, you’ll be guided into deep rest where stress melts away and your whole system gets a chance to repair, release, and reset.
Why we love this combination
The yoga softens and opens the body, making space for the sound to travel even deeper. Together, it’s like a full reset, calming the mind, releasing tension, and leaving you feeling nourished on every level.
Cost: Early Bird: £95 - available until Aug 15th, Full Price: £120
Or 3 x £40 payments due on July 31st, Aug 31st & Sept 12th
This gentle retreat is an invitation to slow down, soften, and reconnect with your body, your breath, and the natural world. Take a step back from the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse yourself in a deeply nourishing day with yoga teacher Kate and forest bathing guide Debbie, in the tranquil beauty of Springhead, nestled in the Dorset countryside.
Your day will include:
Somatic Movement and Yoga
Forest Bathing
Yoga Nidra
We’ll begin the day with gentle somatic movement and yoga. This practice offers you the chance to explore a different style of movement. One that’s introspective and experiential, sensing and feeling into the body from the inside and is deeply nourishing.
We’ll enjoy two nature immersion sessions, one in the morning and one after lunch. Forest bathing is the practice of intentionally connecting with nature to release stress and refresh your whole being. It’s not exercise; it’s about being present. Awaken your senses as you wander slowly through the beautiful grounds of Springhead, noticing what you see, hear, touch, smell, and feel. This gentle practice can lower stress, support immunity, and improve sleep – all by simply being in harmony with nature.
We’ll end the day with an outdoor yoga nidra session (weather permitting) before our closing circle. Yoga nidra is a deeply restful guided meditation that induces a state of profound relaxation, helping reduce stress and improve sleep quality and wellbeing.
No experience needed; all levels are welcome. This day is for anyone seeking stillness, softness, nourishment and renewal.
What’s included:
All sessions and refreshments.
Yoga mats will be provided.
What to bring:
Your own light picnic lunch, a bottle of water, at least 2 blankets, a pillow, your journal, an extra layer of clothing for yoga nidra and if you’d like, an eye mask.

As the summer winds down, this is your invitation to pause.
Cost: £10 per household and you will receive a recording afterwards to keep.
Join me for this special yoga nidra session to honour the transition of the seasons, release the busyness of summer and gently prepare for the shift into autumn.
Yoga nidra is also known as yogic sleeping, as you go through all the different brain waves you would go through if you were sleeping. No movement is required and you can do it in your pyjamas. No need to have your camera on. Yoga Nidra helps calm the nervous system, improves sleep, reduces anxiety and leaves you feeling grounded, spacious and rested.
This is a beautiful way to give back to yourself. To land, to rest and let go before the new season begins.
It would be lovely to practice with you. Let me know if you would like an invite. kate-71@live.co.uk

A morning of Gentle somatic mindful movement, yoga and yoga nidra to help you recognise how your unconscious holding patterns can affect your horses. For instance, you could be holding around one seat bone, which creates an imbalance within the horse. Also, just the daily care of horses can be tough on the body, poo picking, mucking out, trudging through mud, etc can have a huge impact on your body. The practices we’ll use will encourage you to slow down and listen and to become more present both on and off the saddle.
We will start the morning by discovering where you are holding tension in your body. We’ll do this by cultivating presence and stillness with mindfulness. With explorative, intuitive movements we will learn to undo this tension. We will learn to move with greater ease and comfort improving flexibility and strength. You will learn self care techniques to release tight shoulders, reduce stress and anxiety and reconnect with yourself.
Embrace this opportunity to truly nurture yourself, recharge and return to your horses feeling calm, connected and balanced helping to deepen your bond and build trust.
Refreshments will be available.

I’m very happy to be offering a Gentle Yoga Retreat morning at Landford Village Hall.
We will take a more embodied approach to yoga sensing and feeling the body. This will be a chance to slow down and just be. As we slow down we become aware of where our bodies are holding tension. This is an opportunity to undo the tension and nurture yourself with gentle movement.
The morning will end with the practice of yoga nidra (yogic sleeping) also known as NDSR. 40 minutes of yoga nidra is equivalent to 4 hours of deep restorative sleep.
Refreshments will be available.

Give yourself permission to rest, slow down, relax and unwind. Undo tension which has built up in the body and mind with gentle, mindful yoga followed by a yoga nidra (yogic sleeping). We often feel guilty about resting and feel we should be completing jobs or tasks or caring for others. Self-care is so important for our health and well-being. We cannot give from an empty vessel. Be kind to yourself and treat yourself.
You are welcome to stay for tea and biscuits afterwards.
Fancy doing a Yoga Nidra class in your pyjamas in the comfort of your own home? Yoga Nidra is also known as Yogic Sleeping and can be practiced in bed, on the floor or on a sofa, wherever feels most comfortable and right for you. 40 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 4 hours of deep restorative sleep.
Cost: £25

Give yourself permission to rest
A morning of Gentle Mindful Yoga and Somatic movements. This will be a slow practice with the emphasis on doing less, self care, resting, connecting to the breath, becoming present and finding inner peace. As we slow down we notice more, becoming aware and attentive to tension and discomfort in the body and slowly with kindness, tending to the held tension within the body and mind. This slow practice will help to regulate our nervous system, therefore, boosting our immune system.
The morning will finish with a Yoga Nidra which is sometimes known as Yogic Sleeping. It is said that 40 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 4 hours of deep restorative sleep as you go through all the different brainwaves you do as you sleep but in a short amount of time. Be sure to bring warm clothes, a couple of blankets, a couple of cushions or a bolster and anything else you need for your comfort and warmth. This is a fantastic nourishing and nurturing practice.
Find the beauty in doing in not doing much. A time just for you, with no demands. A time to rest, to nourish, to nurture and breathe, just being perfectly you.
You're more than welcome to stay for a cuppa and a chat after.

Rest is something we all need more of but rarely give ourselves permission to do. Treat yourself to a morning of rest. A gentle blend of yoga, Somatics and yoga Nidra (deep rest).
Dive in to this deep practice, nourishing and nurturing yourself. With gentle, slow mindful movements we become more present and alive in our bodies. We find greater ease in our movements and our mind becomes quiet.
I’m holding this online Yoga Nidra class to raise money for friends whose National Trust thatched cottage in Pamphill was devastated by fire recently. The family, Amy, Tom, Zoe (12) and Harry (6) lost all their belongings and desperately need financial help to replace everything, including clothes for them and their two children.

This is an invitation to come and treat yourself with a morning of mindful yoga and deep rest.
We spend most of our time in our heads, rushing around and thinking about the next thing that we have to do. Even as we are washing up, brushing our teeth, driving, we are still thinking of the next task or planning our future.
How often are we truly present?
This is an opportunity to step into our bodies and the present moment, connecting to the breath and the spine. Becoming aware of the space around us and the earth beneath us.
We will begin the morning with a mindfulness meditation guided by Carl, then Kate will guide you into your yoga practice. The morning will end with a Yoga Nidra.

I'm very happy to welcome Caroline Lang back to Dorset for a Scaravelli-inspired yoga day workshop. Caroline is a long-term student of Dianne Long and Sandra Sabatini. She has a gentle hands-on approach and teaches from the heart. She's one of my favourite teachers and brings a wealth of knowledge with her. The joy of Caroline's teaching is it's suitable for everyone, from beginners through to teachers who want to deepen their knowledge or explore the Scaravelli approach to yoga. Everyone is welcome, whatever level you're at.
Please bring a refillable water bottle. If you have your own mat and blanket please bring it. If you don't have either there will be a few available to borrow. To book please PM me.
Here's what Caroline says about the practice:
"In a sense the practice is very simple: a profound invitation to relax, befriend ourselves, attune the breath, explore how to relate to the ground and the subtle relationships between different parts of the body. Letting go of tension we can start to feel more, rest back and enjoy physical and emotional space. Connecting to the spine and the core of the body, we discover that we do not need to use effort to hold ourselves up and together, but can trust a different kind of support and move in an integrated way.
